N-PAF successfully concluded its annual review and 18th general assembly on 28 September 2024 at Hotel Asian of Rukum West. The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Lumbini Gautam, head of District Coordination Committee as chief guest, Mr. Mahendra K. C., Mayor of Musikot Municipality as special guest and other prominent dignitaries from district level offices, political leaders, I/NGOs including journalist, teachers and other esteemed individuals. The event was chaired by N-PAF’s chair person Mr. Tek Bahadur Kusari and anchored by vice-secretary Mr. Dipendra Mahatara.
During the assembly, journalist Mr. Bharat Chanda from Prime Television was honored for his significant role in disseminating information and raising awareness about mental health in the region. Mr. Samit Rijal, Project Coordinator of the Community Food Security and Empowerment Program, was awarded the prestigious title of “Best Staff of the Year”. Additionally, 8 students from Saraswati Secondary School and Yamuna Nanda Namuna Secondary School, were provide with academic materials with a aim to support them in their studies.
The annual review provided a platform for N-PAF to reflect on its achievements, challenges, and future plans.
