Putha Uttarganaga Rural Municipality, with financial support from the Community Transformation Project (Pro-Act) implemented by the Nepal Public Awakening Forum (N-PAF) in partnership with United Mission to Nepal (UMN), has conducted a two-day training on harmful traditional practices (HTPs), gender-based violence and alcoholism. The primary aim of this training was to build the capacity of the judicial committee and local government representatives to advocate against and mitigate harmful traditional practices (HTPs), gender-based violence, and alcoholism.
N-PAF acknowledges and thanks Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality for its efforts and commitment in combating harmful traditional practices (HTPs), gender-based violence (GBV), and alcoholism.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the team leader of the UMN Rukum East Cluster Mr. Shiva Prasad Adhikari for gracing the event with his presence.
